How to get to venue:

By Tube or Rail: Hackney Central (London Overground) is the nearest station, a short journey from Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line) on the London Overground. There are no underground stations nearby. From Hackney Central, as you exit the station turn right onto Amhurst Rd and then take the first left onto Mare Street. Follow this road for 0.2 miles and you will see St John on the right hand side.

By Bus: Routes 38, 43, 48, 55, 56, 106, 242, 253, 254, 425, 488 all serve Lower Clapton Road and stop directly outside the venue.

Parking: There is no parking available on site. Please visit for more information about parking locally

Disabled access:

The venue has a wheelchair ramp at the main entrance, and provides wheelchair accessible toilets.

The concert is standing however provision will be made for a rope & post wheelchair viewing area in front of the mojo barrier. Please note that this will not be raised. There is limited seating on the balcony  which may be reserved for people who are unable to stand (unfortunately the venue does not have a lift in place.)

The venue will require accreditation to approve this and due to the seating being unreserved, arrangements for a priority access will be made which require attendees to be available at the front of the building just before the time of doors. Note, seating on the balcony and in the wheelchair viewing area will be limited to one individual plus companion only (2 spaces.) For more information about accessibility or reserved seating at the venue please contact

There are local restaurants snd shops within 2- 5 minutes walk of the Venue.

There is a physical cost in ticketing Big Church Live events and the Big Church Live team have worked hard to see that this is delivered as efficiently as possible. Part of these costs include development costs for the ticketing site, staff costs for our customer service provision, and also often ticketing team and wristband costs at the events themselves, along with the usual card processing fees and vat etc. Also, the benefit of Big Church Tickets is often the unseen savings of being one of the things that can help drive volume to events and therefore contribute to keeping down the actual cost of the event ticket itself.

A £1.50 per ticket Service Charge will be added to all ticket prices and the service charge is non-refundable.
